Oh, the weather outside is...
Well, it isn't "frightful," but the wind is howling! I stepped outside to check the boat: it is 79º; the wind is blowing about 25 mph out of the south, with higher gusts. Predictions are for gusts above 40 mph today. Warm, but not pleasant to be outside. That will change by tomorrow, when the wind will clock around to the north and the temperature will drop.
Yep, the next norther is on its way. They name winter storms now, like is done with tropical storms and hurricanes. Joan made me laugh... "I think this one will be winter storm Stephanie." The worst of this norther is expected on Monday, when Steph and Dan arrive. But, our hearts will be warm - we are excited to see them.
In the meantime, we are content inside. Izzy is on Joan's lap, with the morning light filtering in through the glass in the front door...
No hurry to take on the day.
