Cold and breezy, with occasional rain as we made our way south today - it was enough rain to make an awful mess out of the motorhome and the Honda. On the bright side, it was mostly a tailwind.
Started out dry...
Made it almost to the Corpus Christi area before the rain started...
Yeah, that's a lot of flat horizon.
We enjoyed our time in San Antonio and are happy to be back home. We don't have Apple Stores, malls, and a world famous Riverwalk, but we also don't have paid parking, crowds everywhere, and heavy traffic. It was a nice change of pace to be back in the motorhome, but when it is just for a few days, you don't have all the comforts of home with you, as you would on an extended trip.
But, did I mention what a great show Tommy Emmanuel put on!?! So worth the trip.
