Stop Sale...

We are at the end of "the week after the Rally," and no word from the BMW dealer.

So... I called the BMW dealer this morning to check on the status of the C400x we ordered for Joan. Seems that BMW has issued a "stop sale" and the dealer doesn't know why. When they have done this in the past (after checking), I found out there has been some kind of an issue with a particular model... like a brake line on the C650 that was being stressed when turned lock to lock. No idea what's going on with the C400x. No idea when the "stop sale" will be lifted or what it will take to do so.

When I told Joan, she said, "Oh well, we're still going to ride today, right? If they get it figured out before we leave, great; if not, I'll just be happy riding my PCX."

Good attitude.
