Arcy-sparky...

As my old sailing friend, Steve, called thunderstorms.  We walked around to the other side of the marina this evening to check out where I will be playing tomorrow night.  Joan said, "Let's take umbrellas..."  Good call.

I haven't seen a real lightning and thunder storm in quite a while... this was quite a show, and continues to be as we get ready for bed.  Little Izzy is unaffected by the noise or light, and is sitting in the cockpit (covered by the camperback canvas), taking it all in.

When we had sailboats, the joke used to be: tie up next to a boat with a taller mast when there is lightning... LOTS of sailboats in this marina.  The power went out once already, and the forecast is calling for more of the same weather all day tomorrow.

It was a bit like "old home week" with the Ranger Tug folks tonight: we visited for a while with Jeff Messmer (VP at Ranger, used to be at C-Dory when we bought Wild Blue), and Joe and Ruth (former C-Dory owners, now with a Ranger Tug).
