Ups and downs...

While out and about today, we saw an encouraging trend: gas prices are down 15¢ in the past week.  Of course, they have gone up about 30¢ since January, so this would be the usual procedure: raise the price, hold it there until people notice and complain, then lower it a bit... people stop complaining, and they get their "raise."

Also interesting: during this up and down with gas, diesel hasn't changed.  The winter blend is a bit more expensive to produce, so you would expect the price to come down a bit as we leave winter behind.  Oh, that is just silly - can't believe I just wrote that.

Gearing up to make some miles, so I have been paying attention to the prices again.  When we're out and about on the scoots, I just laugh at the gas stations.  Nothing funny about filling up that truck, though.

Yep. We're getting ready to head to NY from FL. Pam in the Kia towing a horse trailer getting 14 MPG, and me following in our RV getting 6 MPG. Ugh.

It isn't inexpensive to "take it all along", huh? ;-)
