Rainy days and Sundays...

If you said, "The Carpenters, 1971," you lose 200 bonus points.  Their song was "Rainy Days and Mondays."

Our day started off rainy here.  Well, the rain came down most of the night.  You notice that in an RV; not like being in a shed with a tin roof, but you hear the sound a lot more than in a house.  I think I slept through a good portion of it, but one of us - and I won't mention his name, but it was Rufus - decided it was time for breakfast about 5:00 this morning.  He is a good boy and doesn't make a fuss... rather, he gets really snuggly.  Which seems sweet, so you can't scold him... but subtly, you know he is hoping you will get up and feed him.  I didn't.

He got breakfast at his normal time.

The rain continued into mid-morning, and it was blissfully cool... as in: 59º.  No, this isn't just a weather report... just saying why it was a mostly lazy ol' day.  And, we liked it!

We did get out for lunch and a trip to Wally World and now have a new rule: Do NOT go to Wally World on a summer Sunday in a tourist area.

It's a good rule.

Joan said, "This place is a zoo."

I said, "Well, the difference is: the zoo keeps the animals in a cage!"
