No, nothing about some clandestine government plot.
Yesterday at Camping World, we bought a windshield cover for the Winnebago. I was originally thinking a nice black, all sunscreen material would look sharp. You would be able to see through it to see out during the day, but people would be able to see in at night. We do have the privacy cover that comes from Winnebago that attaches from the inside. I'm not crazy about how that looks.
Joan researched and found this cover - it is solid, so it completely blocks the view in or out; but, there are roll-down panels at each door and in the middle of the windshield that allow you a view out. It has the black sunscreen material I wanted so people can't see in during the day. Win-Win.
Good fit - it didn't come with directions, but was pretty simple. With one of us on each side, it only takes a few seconds to fit in place. There is a strap that closes in the doors and magnets to keep it in place on the bottom. Cut-outs for the mirrors.
The view from inside...
The Ford E-Series hasn't changed much in the past few years, so this looks like a custom fit. I like it; the Blonde likes it. Izzy is asleep, so she hasn't voiced her opinion... I'm sure she'll approve.
The GoodSam Campground Guide Book has gotten a lot thicker since we last bought one...
Looks like the Phoenix phone book! We generally use on-line resources or apps for finding an RV park, but it is nice to have the book, too.
We may be ready for a shake-down trip. ;-)
