If the rain comes...

If you said, "The Beatles, 1966," you get 50 bonus points.  If you said, "It was the B-side of the 45 featuring Paperback Writer as the A-side," you get an additional 200 bonus points.  If you said, "It was originally recorded as part of the sessions for the album Revolver, but not used on that album, you get an additional 500 bonus points."

If you said, "You finally got rain?" you are right.  It blew in in the middle of the night, with wind, rain, and booming thunder.  Not sure how much rain we got, but it was still raining this morning, and the puddles in the low spots are deep.

Since the weather weasels have been wrong with the rain forecast for the last several days (it was beautiful over the weekend), we thought we might take the scoots out for breakfast this morning.

Nope.  I don't like riding in the rain.  Don't like riding through the puddles, 'cause you never know how deep they are.  And, I really don't like cleaning up a black bike after riding in the rain.  So, we took the CR-V to Pier 19 for breakfast.  Pier 19 has become a Monday-thing when we remember, because they have a Monday special on an omelette I particularly like.

Apparently, the rain chased away the Father's Day weekend crowds early - it was surprisingly not crowded in there there morning.

With the boat put away, our next step in getting ready to roll is gathering.  This is the plan for today: deciding what goes and what stays.  The actual loading of the motorhome can be done in a day... once we are good with what goes in there.  Again, we are not on a tight schedule... but (I think I've heard this before), the weasels are predicting rain all this week.

Time for some music this morning...

The X20 got the playtime today.  Another decision to be made: which guitar goes along with us, and which goes into storage.  Of course, it will be one of the Emeralds that will come north with us.

Decisions.
