Shuffle...

Cards, anyone?  Nah, who has time for that?

Without telling Mother Nature, we have a plan for the day: drive to the storage unit, pull out the coach, hook the CR-V to the boat and pull that out, re-park the coach, bring the boat home.  Nothing beyond that... if the weather stays pleasant, we'll get the cover off the boat and get it ready to get wet.

We were greeted by the sound of the goats at the storage unit - they are our neighbors, and cute as can be.  The "babies" have grown up a bunch since we've seen them last.

Getting the coach ready to pull out...

With the boat at a diagonal in the storage unit, we are able to fit it and the coach in there.

Coach out, Honda backed in and hooked up to the boat...

We looked the boat and trailer over, making sure it was ready for the road.  Pulled it out and put the coach back in.  Time to head for home.

We stopped to top off the fuel tank, and put the boat in the driveway.  Time to take the covers off, hook the battery up, and put all the boat stuff back on the boat.

With the boat ready for the water, I drove it around to the ramp and backed it down.  I got on the boat while Joan backed the rest of the way on the water; fired up the motor (we had test run it in the driveway), and backed off.  I waved good-bye to Joan, she pulled out the trailer and rinsed it and put it in the driveway, while I took the boat around our island to our dock...

In the ICW...

Up the outside canal...

Then, back to our dock...

We tied the boat off, then went back to work at other tasks.  A for-fun boat ride will have to wait.  Not a big "Awwwww!" because the wind was blowing about 18 gusting to 28.  Another day.
