Nothing to do with getting moved in/moved out. We are still working on boat projects (never-ending) and house projects (always on-going)... but, today is FINALLY election day. Those who know me know my political views. No amount of advertising, badgering, or yammering is going to change my mind. I figure most people are that way. All the time, effort and money wasted on political campaigns... does anyone really vote for the person with the most signs??
We voted. Sent in absentee ballots, because we could be anywhere on this day. No lines. Plus, we helped support the money-losing Postal system.
So, get out there and vote today. Pick the candidate who most closely aligns with your views. Read about the different amendments and spending proposals. Keep in mind that if you do a write-in or vote for a candidate that doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of getting elected, you may be contributing to one of the major candidates counts... this one is gonna be close.
I will be surprised if we know tonight who will be President. I dread the thought that this is going to drag on... remember the Bush/Gore race? Let's hope we don't see that kind of fiasco again.
If only the candidates and political parties could put the same effort into getting good things done for the country that they put into these political races.
I'm hopeful that way.

Truer words were never spoken. Pam and I are in Georgia near the Florida border. Being a tossup state, we get hammered with political ads, almost everyone of them negative. Can't wait 'til it's over.
Well, Dave, you know about 20 minutes after a victor is declared, the others will be campaigning for 2016. Heaven help us!! ;-)
