A bit of a break...

Still gray, rain threatening (but not falling), but the wind has eased up and the temperature is slowing clawing its way into the low 70s.  The hourly forecasts are changing almost as fast as you can check them out.

I make a few videos this morning, since I was set up for it in the guitar room; here's one...

Notice the shirt?  Yeah, it has "Vespa Austin" on it (which is now AF1 Racing).  Around 4:00 this afternoon, it looked as though the weather might be pleasant for a bit.  Not enough to take the cover off the boat, but time to get the scoot out and put around.  No destination, not even an intended direction.  But, I did take a minute to check mail...

Around the neighborhood, off the island, and around town a bit.  Never got above 30mph, but it felt good to just get out on the scoot.

The local 5:00 news just started: there is a Flash Flood Warning for most of the Rio Grande Valley for the entire weekend.  This was a welcome break, but there is a lot more rain coming.
