A bit of an eclipse...

The moon coming up over South Mountain this evening was pretty striking...

You can see a bit of darkening in the upper left, as there is a partial lunar eclipse happening.  For those keeping track, this is the Harvest Moon.  According to the Old Farmer's Almanac:

"The harvest moon is the closest full moon to the Northern Hemisphere's autumn equinox, which this year will take place on September 22 at 12:43 GMT. So yes, this is also a harvest moon. According to the Farmer's Almanac, 'this full moon rises at nearly the same time – around sunset – for several evenings in a row'.”

Get outside and howl!

Much needed rain here yesterday and cloudy overnight, so no view of the Super Moon / Harvest Moon / partial eclipse last night. But your shot is good enough for me.
