It's a beautiful morning...

If you said, "The Young Rascals, 1967," you get 100 bonus points.

If you live in the Tropical Tip, you were treated to a glorious morning: blue sky, sunshine, low humidity, temp in the low 70s... a lovely day.  Joan went to the store early this morning to beat the Thanksgiving shopping crowds, and said, "We're going to have to do a boat ride today," on her way out the door.

Yep.

With the door to the patio open, we could hear an outboard motor close.  Stepping out onto the deck, you can't make this stuff up...

When Joan first went outside, the dredge pipe was under our boat, up against the dock.  One of the workers saw her, hollered to some of the others, and they hustled to move the pipe away from our boat.  Yes, there is a guy in the water in those photos.

The way the pipe was, we could down our canal with just one "crossing"... now, it is snaked back and forth, against docks on either side - it looks like about 6 pipe jumps just to get out of our canal.

We had some rain yesterday; I went down to the boat to wipe it down, after the workers left.  Yeah, it is going to be a lot of work trying to get out of here.

Some people use meditation or yoga to relieve their stress.  Some drink.  Some just carry the anger around.  I use cat therapy: look at that sweet face...

She was out on the deck, too, keeping an eye on all the activity.  Her sweet demeanor rubs off.  :-)

With it being such a lovely morning, Joan suggested breakfast out on the deck; a lovely consideration...

I am not one to post food photos, but was also good therapy: that nice meal on a teal plate with the burgundy table cloth.  And, the best part: bacon in the scrambled eggs, and bacon on the side.  Just right.

We'll see if the dredge operates today, making the pipe sink and a bit easier to get over.  Still, a pretty start to the day.
