If you said, "Jonathon Edwards, 1971," you are my people, and you get 25 bonus points. There have been other "Sunshine" songs, but this is the one that gets you the bonus points. My favorite line from that song: "... he can't even run his own lifeI'll be damned if he'll run mine, Sunshine"
It was a cold start to the day, but at least the sun was shining. Only got to a high of 62º today, so still below normal. Joan and I went to Mark and Cindy's today. Once again, Cindy made lunch, then she and Joan went to check out fabric for a potential quilt, while Mark and I made some music. Nice way to spend the afternoon.
We stopped at Steph and Dan's before heading for home. Someone is having a birthday in 9 days; I won't mention who, but it is Steph. We booked a Spring Training baseball game as part of her celebration... the Brewers (for Dan) vs Cincinatti (because I like their chili). There was plenty of cat petting and some attention for Blaine the Guide Dog puppy. And plans for getting together over the weekend.
Rufus was happy to see us when we got home. We felt likewise. It kind of feels like we are getting beyond our self-imposed "house arrest" due to the crap weather.
