Over the hump...

Well, it is Wednesday.

Another flurry of activity this morning with the landscaping.  They are cutting pavers to make curves - it looks like a scene from Apocalypse Now, with the dirt and sand in the air...

We now have a gate...

It isn't installed, but it is reassuring that it is here.  Robert told me that he is having one more load of gravel delivered, which surprised me - a dump truck dropped off another huge load yesterday, and Robert told me that is more than they need... this next load will be the gold color gravel that all the front yards in this development have.  Apparently, they will need a bit more of that when they put the pavers from the sidewalk to the gate.  They have that area cleared this morning, so I am assuming this stretch of pavers is on the agenda for today.

The stacks of pavers that were in front of the house has diminished...

A look around at what's been done this morning:

Piles of gravel that will be leveled...

The area with sand will be turf, trimmed with the pavers...

Steph and Dan's patio area...

Again, the areas that are sand will have turf installed.  It is coming together.

--------

That happened fast - positioning the turf...

And then, bam - it was done...

Pavers started in the front...

While this was going on outside, Joan and I were working on getting guitars on the wall in our music room.  To get an idea of what we needed for space, I laid guitars out on a rug...

I took my time to space and level guitar hangers...

Joan bought a couple diagonal guitar hangers, one for this room and another for our living room (yes, her idea).  Those hangers should be in by Friday - there is other work to get done in this room in the meantime.  Again, things are progressing.

Steph and Dan came by to look at all that has been done and bring a load of stuff from their apartment.  They are impressed with how the yard is looking - Dan is particularly fond of the turf on their side...
