If you are reading this, you have or had a Mother. While we should be honoring them all the time, this is the day that Hallmark and the other card manufacturers decided we should.
Joan and Steph got to talk this morning... nice conversation; it makes my heart happy to see/hear those two interact. As is our usual family tradition, Joan opened cards while visiting with Steph. Plus, the card that Rufus made for her (I helped, just a bit).
When I asked Joan what she wanted to do today, she said, "How about you take me out for a boat ride?" I'm in.
We had more "binge watching" to do this morning, so out on the boat this afternoon...

The wind was blowing, but the temp was nice (around 80º) and we enjoyed spending some time with the dolphins...

The wind was out of the east northeast, bringing it pretty much right down the ship channel; only about 1' chop, but very closely spaced. We took some water over the deck, but under the gate...
We did a bit more touring around, and then home in time for Rufus's supper. More boat rinsing than usual.
