Buc-ee's. Gas in the area was $2.75 most places, Buc-ee's had it for $2.53... it was still morning, so after fueling up, we picked up some BBQ (for later) and a scone for Joan, a kolache for me. Yes, Rufus got a treat, too.
Another uneventful day, other than the excitement of getting 8.3mpg on the above fill-up (our best this trip). We had a tailwind yesterday and this morning, turning to a crosswind (but lighter) as we drove further south. Also getting warmer as we approach the Tropical Tip.
We will start the unloading process, moving stuff from the motorhome into the cargo trailer. That way, when we get to the storage unit, we can put the coach inside, close it up, and head for home with the cargo trailer behind the Honda.
That's the plan... we'll see how the execution plays out.

Buc-ee's sells kolaches? Did you take a picture to share of what kind you bought? Oh Cap, how can we share the adventure with only gas prices quoted?? Welcome home. Bob
PS: Does The Blonde have to clean like a maniac including the windows. What a bride you have.
Hi, Bob - Buc-ee's sells all kinds of good stuff: BBQ, jerky, clothing, decor, slushies, refrigerated goods, grills, etc, etc. They make fresh kolaches, pastries, cookies. I had a sausage and cheese, but they are available with different fillings. No photos, but imagine a personal size loaf of bread with a sausage like a brat and cheese in the middle.
Joan likes things clean. That is her domain. Usually, when I clean the exterior of the coach, she does the windows. We squished a LOT of bugs on the way home - the motorhome is going to need some serious cleaning on the outside, but that will have to wait until I can acclimate to the humidity again.
