Like a Subway...

Not the underground transportation system in the big cities.

Joan had a proposal for me today (no, she didn't ask me to marry her again, once was enough): "I'm feeling like Mexican for lunch today.  Let's try Qdoba and take it to Canyon Lake Park for a picnic."

"I'm in."

We had other running to get done: take stuff back to Menard's that we didn't use for repairs, pick up a Jimmy John's sandwich for a scooter outing tomorrow, gas up the car, drop off a return (that frustrating Lexin helmet communicator that doesn't communicate) to the UPS Store, and get some groceries.

I had to look up Qdoba's menu on-line to see what they have.  Yeah, it is kinda like Subway, but with Mexican food - you pick the size you want (bowl or burrito), pick what you want in it, pick the meat you want, cheese, toppings, etc.

We made that stop second to last, saving the groceries for the end.  The picnic in the park was nice.  It is cooler today, plenty sunny.  Nice day for a picnic.  We were visited by a squirrel, who obviously has gotten hand-outs just by showing his squirrelly face up close.  Didn't work this time.

So, nothing exciting, but a day of getting stuff done.  We need those once in a while.
