It is going to be another warm day here in the Black Hills - a decision needs to be made: go for a motorcycle ride, or stay home and edit the video I shot yesterday on the Custer State Park Wildlife Loop.
So, after an exhilarating motorcycle ride through the twisties (😎), I came back for some patio time with Joan and Rufus. The neighbor next to us has moved to another site (they got out of Purgatory Flats), so we now have a view while out on the patio.
Out for an "Early Bird" supper at Texas Roadhouse. I guess I'll try to finish up the editing on that video tonight. Maybe.

Despite several attempts, I have never successfully eaten at a Texas Roadhouse. There is one about four miles from the house, and I tried once with my brother in Michigan. We even tried once in Anchorage. But every time (even getting there right at the 4 pm opening) there was always a 45-minute minimum wait for seating. I cannot recall *ever* having a restaurant meal that justified waiting that long before even being seated at the table. Then God only knows how long in addition it would take to actually get the food. Glad it works for you.
Hi Earl - The TR here opens at 3:30; we were there right at opening and there was no wait. Got our orders taken right away, ate, and took home the left-overs in less than an hour. The steaks are excellent, the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender. Now, for full disclosure, they aren't from Texas - their headquarters is in Louisville, KY. The food is good, prices reasonable, and in a casual atmosphere. We have been eating at their various locations for years and keep going back. If you give them a chance, I'm guessing you'd like the food. You can also do "call ahead seating" and they will give you a number and eliminate much the wait. The fact that they are always busy should tell you something. ;-)
