When we got back from lunch out today (Texas Roadhouse was great, thanks for asking), our next door neighbor was moving to another site. We were the last two RV in our row on our side of the street. I asked, "Was it something I said? You folks have been nice neighbors." The resort will be closing this part of the park down in the next few days; they were moving today because it was convenient for a "storage move" (when the park comes in with a truck and moves your RV - no fuss with hooking up).
He said, "We enjoyed having you as neighbors, but we could have used more of your guitar playing." I have occasionally played and sang quietly on the patio - he has commented before about how much they enjoyed the music ("But you could crank it up a bit so we could hear it better.").
We are at the end of our street, so it really looks unoccupied...
As it gets closer to cold weather, the park consolidates those who are staying here into the area closest to the lodge. On Monday, we will have to move - two days before we head out. So, we'll back up a bit, then pack up a lot. Unless they decide to hold off any for shutting down this section. We'll see. In the meantime, each day gets quieter in our section.
