Back to Custer State Park once again.
I took the 360 camera today, vowing to not shoot a bunch of videos that would have me editing for far longer than we rode. In fact, most of what I shot today were still images (360 and 4k); and then a couple videos on the 4k lens module.
Come along for the ride...
Cows on and alongside the road...
Working our way to Iron Mountain Road...
A drive-by to check out George and the boys...
The highlight today is back on Needles Highway...
Needle's Eye...
And for the first time ever: no traffic delay going through the tunnel at Needle's Eye...
Of course, that "no traffic" thing doesn't last. This guy was stopped on the road for some reason...
We stopped for a picnic lunch at Hole In the Wall, just off Needles Highway...
This is what it looks like from "the other side" with a 360 camera...
Lunch was great, and a nice break. Then, back to the ride...
Heading to the Wildlife Loop in Custer State Park...
After lunch, I switched from the 360 lens module to the 4k lens module; the big difference: the 4k lens module shoots the direction you point it - no looking around for a different view. I haven't used that lens module much, because the 360 is so unique...
For fun, I did shoot a few short video clips on the Wildlife Loop...
Then, back through Custer State Park, Iron Mountain Road, and the rest of the good curvy riding back to Hart Ranch...
