This is not about Hart Ranch, but talking about back at our house.  Tropical Storm Beta is affecting the tide and storm surge at home.  Our island is well south of where Beta is making landfall, but the effects are all along the Texas Gulf Coast - currently there are warnings for Coastal Flooding, Rip Tides, and a High Surf Advisory.

One of the cameras at the house is showing the lowest part of our dock under water...

 You can see the water rippling in the video.  It was higher earlier, the tide is receding.  No problem as long as the water stays below the upper dock level.  

 For those keeping track: today is the last day of summer.
