Checkin' it off...

Our list of things we need to get done before we roll.  Yeah, some of it is the usual ol' RV stuff, some of it is our stuff... like getting the scoots strapped down in the cargo trailer, and packing any other stuff that needs to go in there.  I seem to be using "stuff" quite a bit here.  ;-)

I got my morning walk, exercises, and bicycle ride in before tackling the stuff on the list.  Joan had two columns on the list: today's stuff and tomorrow's stuff.  I'll tell you how efficient we are: we got through today's stuff and tomorrow's stuff, and it's only today.

One bonus thing to do: get the oil changed in the motorhome.  We stopped at a Super Lube place where they do "while you wait" oil changes.  In order to do the motorhome, they have to have us there first thing in the morning because they don't have room for a motorhome to make the exit turn - you have to back out the way you came in, and they don't want to move other customers.  OK, I get that.  Rather than unhook, drive into town, came back and re-hook up utilities; only to unhook and hit the road on Thursday... makes sense to me to just go there at 7:30 Thursday morning, get the oil change done, and hit the road.

Yes, there was time for Rufus to get outside a couple times today, as well... we may have lists, but life goes on, and Rufus needs his leash time.
