Thunderbolt and lightning, very very frightening...

Galileo... If you said, "Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, 1975," you get 12 bonus points.  "Only 12???" you ask.  Yeah, that one is super easy.

Another rain day.  Fog and a light mist this morning; I took the day off from my walk, bike ride, and exercises (outdoors).  Knowing I would have cabin fever, Joan suggested we have Chinese for lunch.  When we left Hart Ranch, it was long before the light mist turned into a gentle rain.  Then, a heavier rain.

We got a parking spot right at the front door of the Chinese restaurant.  The food was good, then time to do a little shopping.  Stop one at Dollar Tree to pick up a few things, then to the nearby Wally World.  While in Wally, we heard the first rumbles of thunder.  Yep, it is now raining in earnest.

I had the wipers on high while we drove south and watched the "light show" of lightning.  Close.  I worried about Rufus being afraid... no, he normally doesn't get concerned with rain/lightning/thunder... well, when we're there.  No idea what goes on when we aren't there.

Yeah, that's a LOT of rain...

When we got back to our site, we took a minute to get our groceries gathered before opening the car door.  I went first, got the door to the coach unlocked and open,  and we're in, out of the rain.

And Rufus...

Yeah, he pretty much slept through it all.

With the weather turning chilly, Joan wanted to get a sweater for Rufus.  She found one she liked, but we didn't agree on the size.  For clarity's sake, finding a "cat sweater" is not easy.  Dog sweaters - no problem.  So, you have to determine the size based on the measurements of a dog.  Rufus is a big cat.  When she held up the sweater, she thought a dog size "small" would be right.  They have the measurements on the card the sweater comes on... it said that size was for a chihauhau or a small poodle.  Rufus is bigger than that (well, to me).  We got that size.  When we got home, Joan managed to squeeze Rufus into the sweater... no, I did not take a photo.  Picture me in a tight crop-top.  OK, you probably don't want to picture that, but that is what the furry boy looked like.  We will be returning that sweater for a bigger size.

One of us doesn't think Rufus needs a sweater.  He has a lot of fur.  And, he is not shy about letting you know that it is too hot or too cold when he is outside.  That's my boy... he likes to be where the weather suits his clo... um, fur.  ;-)
