In and out in an hour...

A restaurant?  Getting your vaccine?  No, and no.  A four month follow-up medical visit today.  Drawing blood, asking and answering questions.  Most of the hour was waiting; about 10 minutes for the blood draw and chat.  The doctor thinks my progress is going well.  They'll let me know the results of the PSA test, probably a week or so.  Next follow-up is in 6 months.

We did some other running while in the big city... might as well be efficient with rising fuel prices.  I got to go to Bass Pro Shop.  Joan was wanting to update our cooler... we've had a bunch of them over the years.  We looked at Target first, and all they had were cheap-o Igloo coolers; more like a double wall plastic container... with no insulation besides that air between the walls.  Heading over to Bass Pro, we educated ourselves with a wide variety of cooler options.  And prices.  In the end, the new Yeti Roadie won out over the competition...

Small enough to cart around, but designed to be "wine bottle" friendly for height.  ;-)  This 24 quart model is an update from the original 20 quart model... 20 percent more capacity, 10 percent lighter, and 30 percent more thermal efficient.

Other errands and my fav: a stop at the DQ on the way home.  Almost makes up for the wait in the exam room at the doctor.  No, it doesn't.
