Undetectable...

Didn't see me coming, didja?  No, not that.  The results of my last follow-up blood test last week came up as "undetectable"... darn close to zero.  "Consider it remission."  Yes, that's a good thing.

We are still in the midst of the big pack-up.  The music room is clean, with only what's going with us waiting to get carted out the door.  There are piles of things that have to go to the coach, but the house is pretty much ready.  Tomorrow, we start in earnest on the motorhome.

Rufus had a visitor today: our neighbor Susan brought Tessa over.  While Susan and I visited, the two fur babies had a bit of a play date.  Those two get along... until Tessa does "downward dog" in anticipation of running and playing.  Rufus likes to rub up on Tessa (making that pooch his), but that is a big dog hopping around from his perspective... he took a swipe at her, no claws out.

"Rufus - you be nice!"  Yes, he's still a good boy - he didn't make contact.  But his idea of a play date is more sniffing and rubbing as opposed to jumping and hopping.  They spent plenty of time nose-to-nose, but Tessa has a bit more puppy in her than Rufus has kitten.  ;-)

Susan and I had a nice visit.  Then, back to the gathering and sorting.

Cap,
The "chat" about cats was nice but the "chit" about the blood test was wonderful. If you were a porch sitter and chair rocker I would be judgmental and mean spirited saying "Who cares, he does not do much anymore, just sits around!" but your energy and life involvement (to say nothing of the gift of having the Blonde in your world) makes many more strong and healthy years a true blessing. And as they say "On the Road Again" for you two! If you guessed Mr. Nelson 1979 you get four points. If you reached for your paper copy of the old AAA maps, better stay home. Say hello to the Chief Navigator for me, give the "Good Boy" a tummy rub, and may the winds be at the back of the coach, the gas prices low, and all the parking spots pull throughs with nice level pads, grass for Rufus, no loud neighbors!! Oh yeah, and may all the bugs go on vacation in Maine till you get to the Black Hills. See ya. Bob Jarrard

Hi Bob. Thank you for the kind words. We're excited to get rolling. Hope your summer is a delight, as well. In the words that we all wrote in year-books back in the day: Stay cool!
