Out on the Burgman 200 for a morning ride, before the heat of the day (supposed to be mid-90s this afternoon). I took the new Insta360 X4 camera, with the intent of shooting a few short clips... somehow that generally expands into: a lot of longer clips. But, today I resisted the urge to just turn the camera on and let it rip.
The ride was good, back home before it was too hot. Then, downloading and trying out Capcut, another video editor. I generally use iMovie, mostly because it came free on the Macbook and the iPad. But, it doesn't have any provision for doing vertical video clips. So, on with Capcut.
Yes, it is different. As an old dog, I am not a fan of different is some aspects. It only took me twice as long to wade through getting this short clip done...
YouTube is still showing it as vertical with the "black bars" on either side, but that is not how I uploaded it. It is an experiment - not sure if I'll go for this instead of iMovie. Except for the whole vertical export thing, iMovie gives me a lot of editing options that are fast... probably because I use it so often.
And, a few still images, emphasis today on the road...
