Rufus is a good audience. As soon as I take a guitar down from the wall, he comes running. Today, I took my smallest guitar (the Emerald X7) and sat in an easy chair in the living room instead of in my music room. Ruf especially likes that, because he can get up into my lap while I'm playing...

Wow, Rufus lets you play! Nice photo. I sent you a picture of Duke, who put a prompt end to one of my practice sessions by climbing up the guitar and onto my shoulder. He is not to be denied when seeking affection. Aggressive cuddling, wd call it.
Aggressive cuddling? Sounds like a clumsy teenage thing. Rufus likes to listen when I sing and play, generally at my feet. But when I play in the living room, he likes to be right beside me, often leaning against the lower bout on the guitar. When I play The Rufus Song, that's his cue that he's going to get brushed. It's part of our routine.
