Late this afternoon, the 4 of us (Steph, Dan, Joan, and I) drove into downtown Phoenix to the office of the builder to sign the paperwork. It was a solid 40 minutes of "sign here and date it"... so many documents. I am pretty sure we signed one paper that verified we were signing papers.
That's it. The deed will be recorded by Wednesday and we will get the keys. A celebration photo or two before we headed out of the office...
Then, a celebration supper at the Old Spaghetti Factory (also downtown).
Traffic was thick coming and going. I'm hoping going into downtown won't be a regular occurrence.
