This is why we're here...

 

In the earlier post today, I mentioned that "the process has started."  When Steph left from work, we met her at the storage units where they have a bunch of their stuff stored, since their temporary rental house isn't big enough to hold it all.  We really wanted to get stuff out of the Equinox, and Steph and Dan were kind enough to let us use some of their storage space.

I can't begin to tell you how good it was to see our kid - as the title to this post says, THIS is why we're here...

 

From there, we went to their rental house to see Dan... and the grandkitties, and Blaine, the guide dog in training.  Good to see everyone, and we formulated a plan for the next couple days.  We have some other stuff to put in the storage unit, and when they get off work tomorrow, we're going to go see the new house.  Saturday, it's off to a home show to check out vendors who can do our patios/landscaping, install some garage storage, and start getting some ideas for a hot-tub.

Yep, the process is underway.
