Up and at 'em this morning. At 8:15, we'll be heading to the new house for our 9:00 official walk-through. We will be equipped with blue tape, Sharpies, notebook, and a night-light to test outlets. Joan also has soap, a towel, and some toilet paper packed; she suggested we take the 2-step ladder we have (tall cabinets).

The walk-through took a couple hours. Our new friend Mo was very thorough and patient. We started outside the house...
And worked our way through the inside...
From there, it was off to Lowe's so Steph and Dan could check out their ceiling fans and lights. Then back to the house to meet with the first landscaping company. They, too, were thorough; took plenty of notes, answered our questions and made suggestions. They are having a CAD layout done by a landscaping designer to get some idea of what we want will look like.
Traffic coming back to the West Valley was moderately sucky. It took us the better part of a hour to work our way back. My brain is tired and my back is aching... a lot of standing again today.
