Trying to be a Monday routine...

This morning, Joan asked, "Do you want to take the scoots over to Pier 19 - it's Monday?"

Well, yeah!

On Mondays, one of their breakfast specials is "the Gravy Train" -  it is a meat and cheese omelette, potato cubes, a biscuit, and a side of sausage gravy.  Yes, it is as good as it sounds.

80ยบ and 90% humidity when we left the house; that is a bit muggy feeling; a 15mph crosswind from the SE as we rode across the causeway.

Breakfast was tasty, and the view from our booth was fun...

A couple dolphins playing in the water.

After breakfast, we rode around the island a bit.  It isn't like the fun curvy roads in the Black Hills, but it is what we have.  Coming back across the causeway, the wind was gusting up to 25mph - yeah, we rode a bit slower on the high part of the causeway.

We considered taking the boat out, but decided to put that off 'till later to see if the wind lets up towards sunset.
