Another big move...

It is going to be a hot one in the Black Hills today: the weather weasels are calling for 98º for a high.  I talked to Steph last night, and Phoenix was around 117º, so she had no sympathy for me.  On the bright side, it does cool down at night.

I only mention the heat because it was an impetus to get going early on our move today.  About 3 blocks.  Still, as I have mentioned before, you still have to put things away (mostly) and do the normal utility unhooking and re-hooking.  The site we are moving to was vacant yesterday, so we could switch sites any time that worked for us (not having to wait until "official check-out/check-in).  About 8:30, we started the process.

We were settled in just before 10:00.  The "front yard" is smaller on this site, since we don't have a corner lot... but, we make up for that with some shade trees.

Plus, this site is "Rufus approved"...

With our work done, the three of us sat under the awning, enjoying the day before the heat settles in.  Rufus and I went for a walk so he could check out the new neighborhood.  Joan had a snack ready for the human people in the family.  I took Rufus inside so he could have a treat, too.

It's all good.
