If you're up early...

A lunar eclipse tomorrow morning.  Here, it will be happening between 4:40 and 6:30 am, with the full eclipse around 6:00.  Full moon tonight, as well - here's how it looks right now...

Thin clouds this evening, so I had to time it to get a whole view of the moon.  I kinda like the look with a sheer veil around it.

I may not be up early enough to see the eclipse, or it may be too cloudy or just over the horizon; so, nice to get a view of the full moon right now.

For those keeping track, it is a Super Moon this month, making this the largest (by about 7%) and brightest (by about 15%) full moon this year.  And, the lunar eclipse happening during the full moon makes it a bit of an event, as well.  This is known as the Flower Full Moon, with the descriptor being pretty obvious.

Get out there and howl at the moon!
