Presents? No, going another direction: it's time to put away the Christmas decorations.
Having a tree in the living room and stuff hanging all around is all little Murphy has known since coming to live with us (just 11 days ago). He was curious to see what we were doing as we took things down and put them away on the hanging racks in the garage. Took the wreath off the front door and the flocked lighted tree out of the outside entryway. Joan had a couple things in the courtyard.
In the big picture, we didn't decorate as much as we would have - losing Rufus took the joy out of the season. Our cat life is different these days... Rufus was mature and settled. Murphy is a youngster and has been learning "limits"... and he's doing pretty good with it.
Another task today: deflating and putting away the airbed Steph and Dan let us use when Joan tested Positive and I was Negative. Since we both got it, it made living together "easier"... sort of. Steph and Dan were in the same situation, but they have been at opposite ends of their house most of the last week. Dan was Negative yesterday, so looking good on their side.

More yard time today...
All that paved patio and walkway, and he chooses to go for the gravel (above). Checking out the turf (below).
Joan ordered another new toy for him - he loves it!
There is a wire on the base that vibrates and spins - the toy on top of that is irresistible. It came with interchangeable attachments (ball, feather, butterfly, ribbon).
It left him completely tuckered out...
Another view of that big naked patch on his belly... it is starting to grow in with soft fuzz, and he likes having it rubbed.
