"You feeling up to dancing cheek-to-cheek with the Blonde?" you ask. Well, I'm getting better, slowly, but thanks for asking.
Yesterday, feeling a bit better and a bit cabin-feverish, I took Murphy for a short walk in the yard. First time he's been on his leash in a few days. He was enjoying the exploring, then discovered "a whole 'nother yard" around the corner. I steered him towards Steph and Dan's patio door when we got that way, gave a knock on that door, then backed off when I saw Steph coming to the door.
Murphy was a bit hesitant when Steph opened the door and stepped out. It was nice to talk to my girl face-to-face, even from a distance. While we were visiting, Tango, her "little orange boy" (that's perspective: he's little compared to her two big Siberian Forest Cats) came to the door. Tango is a sweet boy. Murphy was curious and went to the door. They got nose-to-nose with the screen between them... Tango didn't look small with scrawny Murphy for comparison.
I told Murphy, "That's Tango - he's your cousin. If you eat all your food and get plenty of exercise, you might be as big as he is someday." Murphy let out a little hiss. It wasn't an angry hiss - I think he was just trying to establish who is the "small alpha." They went back to the close checking out through the screen.
It was always the plan to bring Tango over to our place to introduce those two, before 3 of the 4 of us got sick. So, maybe they'll get the opportunity soon. This was a nice first meeting.
No, I didn't have my phone along, but it was cute. Really.
Here's a photo of Murph playing with his toys in front of the fireplace this morning...

This afternoon, another walk around for Murphy and Tango to get some face time...
Another good "controlled" meeting.
