Garage Band...

If you said, "An app or software for recording and arranging music that comes on Apple devices," you get 5 bonus points.  If you asked, "Did you get together with the guys again?" you are right on and get 10 bonus points.  We were in Mark's garage today.

I'm not sure how much the neighbors can hear, but we kept the garage door mostly closed today so those sitting to the door side of the garage weren't being harshly backlit  for those of us in the back of the garage.  Today, we had a couple of Mark's friends from the Food Bank (where he volunteers) come in to see what we do; Mary and Greg - she plays a bit of guitar and sings, so this is the opportunity to see how we arrange songs; Greg is a by-stander.

Mark had sent out a list of what we'd play today, to get us started.  Plus a couple new tunes.  As always, this is for the fun of it.  Everyone of the regulars has played out, but no plans for that currently.  We were missing one guy today: Gil - he is having cataract surgery.  Joan has jokingly said, "It is hard for you all to be there with each get-together (usually every other week), because one of you old guys is going to be 'infirmed' due to something."  Funny, but she has a point.

I took a few photos today as we were close to wrapping up, then Joan took a couple so I could be in a photo...

That's Mark, Ron and me above.  Below is Tom, Danny, and Greg (the visitor)...

If you see microphones, cables, speakers, amps, mixers, etc, as well as guitars and a cajon - yeah, it takes a while to set up and tear down all of that.

After we finished, while tearing down equipment, I asked this chick to hold my guitar...

I'm going to see if I can get her to come home with me.  ;-)

When we got home, Murphy was happy to see us, then settled in for a nap...
