Mark and I have been tossing this song back and forth. He brought the project after hearing this done at a family wedding in Jamaica. We started it as a full band backing, with us playing all the parts. This version is pared down: Mark on piano, me on vocal - that's it. Slowed the tempo, and changed the key.
Collaborating from about 1,400 miles apart can be challenging. With each of us using Spire Studio, we can send individual or multiple tracks back and forth. Technology. I'm looking forward to making music with Mark face-to-face while we're in Phoenix.
