Ahead of schedule...

We allow ourselves a pad for timing when heading out, and keep an eye on Mother Nature.  We have had some beautiful weather lately, but another norther is supposed to blow in tomorrow.  So, today was all about getting the cargo trailer ready and the music room put away.

I am taking more music gear along, because my buddy Mark is now retired and we will have more time to make music, face-to-face.  I am so looking forward to that.  It makes my music room look a bit bleak, though...

Guitars that aren't going along are being packed away.  One left out to play if time allows over the next couple of days.  Electronics that support what Mark and I have been doing with recording projects are ready to go.  Before that all happened, Joan and Rufus got one last plugged-in concert.

Then, on to the cargo trailer: scoots out, stuff arranged, scoots back in, everything strapped down...

Some coats and cold weather gear that doesn't see much use here will go into the motorhome... we will need access to it - looking at weather predictions along our route, I think we are going to see some below freezing temps.  Hopefully, we can avoid the precip with those cold temps.

It will be a couple days before we bring the coach in to load up, but we can take that time to decide what goes and what stays.  We have our heads in it now.  Yes, Rufus knows something is up.  A good supply of his stuff will come with us; we want the furry boy to feel good about the next few months, too.
