Another day off the road at Winstar. Working leisurely, we checked all the fluids in the vehicles, checked and topped off tires and the air bags (in the motorhome, the kind that smooth out the ride in the rear, not the kind that inflate if you crash). We will be ready to roll first thing in the morning and make some miles.
After that, we made another try at the casino to see if yesterday was a fluke. Apparently not. I've seen all the ads for Winstar - lots of winners. Almost enough to make you feel sorry for all the money Winstar is paying out. Almost. I was not a winner. On the bright side, not much of a loser, either. Not enough to help pay for that new entertainment area they're building. I can't speak for Joan, but she always tells me when she wins. She didn't tell me anything today.
We had lunch at the casino, but didn't try to "make it up" at the buffet, like yesterday. Joan picked up a couple things at the French Bakery for tomorrow morning.
It's a pretty day here - high in the low 80s, sunny, very little breeze. We'll get some patio time before we call it an evening. It has been a good stop here; the RV park is very nice, Rufus has gotten in some good walks, and the casino is a pleasant diversion. After two days of it, I won't need any casino time for months. This place bills itself as "the World's Largest Casino," and I'm inclined to believe that, after walking around on the casino floor.
