Our water will be out again today. It was back on last night, but obviously not a final repair. We got some advance warning for this next outage that will happen around 9:00 this morning. We are ready for it: dishes done, all our drinking water containers are topped off (besides the bottled water we keep on-hand), we are showered, and "flushing water" in each bathroom. It shouldn't be an inconvenience.

The proposed work on our waterline didn't happen today... something about "dangerous conditions" because of rain and electrical lines. Pretty sure our waterlines don't run right alongside the electric lines, but you never know around here. So, all that up and at 'em before 9:00 didn't have to happen that early.
It's another gray day in the Tropical Tip, with temps around 60º for a high, wind from the north (not howling - Yay!), and occasional drizzle. Joan keeps telling me that "better weather is just a day away," but they keep moving it back, and when it does happen, it doesn't stay around for more than a day or two.
But "tomorrow will be a better day"... of this I am sure. It is somebody's anniversary tomorrow, and it is "one of those big ones."
