Another piece of equipment that was ordered over the weekend arrived today. OK, not exactly music gear, but something that will support that habit... a Shure MV88+ Video Kit.

The kit is built around a small but impressive condenser mic with an app that turns the iPhone into a video production unit with good sound. The current iPhones are great with photos and video, not so much with audio using the built-in mic. The premise is: simple to use, good results. That's the premise. ;-)

Late in the day when it arrived, so I had time for a few tests around the house... "Joan, say hi to the camera." Record the commercial on TV. A lot of "Testing, 1, 2, 3." Yes, it works. Not sure exactly what I'll be doing with it, but I'm guessing some music videos.
Rufus was very excited about all this...

And Joan has gone to work with her new sewing machine...
Similar to the cat wall hanging she made for us, these colors will look good in Steph and Dan's house.
